What are the best ways for kids to get Fluoride?

It is recommended that kids over the age of 12 months who are not able to brush without swallowing, use a rice grain size amount of a fluoride toothpaste to brush. Once a child is able to brush without swallowing, it is recommended that a parent use a pea size amount of fluoride toothpaste to brush. Drinking tap water is a great way for a child to get fluoride. Professional fluoride application is recommended at each cleaning appointment, every 6 months. For kids that are high risk in getting cavities, profession fluoride applications are recommended every 3 months.

Dr. Chris is great with her and keeps me updated on any issues we may encounter in the future. Their costs are very reasonable

Dr Dixon and his staff have always been so thoughtful and conscientious with our children. He has always been available to us when there’s been an emergency. I appreciate that he is supportive of our choices as parents to be cautious as times, and having a “let’s monitor it and see” approach at other times.
